Visit Tracking: How It Works
This site records a small amount of visit data when a visitor arrives from a search engine: the page path, the type of event, the name of the referring search engine and the text of any outbound button clicked. This happens only for search-engine arrivals — it is not triggered for direct visits or links from other sources. The data is used solely to count page views and clicks on outbound buttons, and for no other purpose. It is stored in the operator's own logs on the same domain, alongside the country reported by the content delivery network for that request. No more precise location than country is collected.
A single first-party cookie supports this counting. It is set only when a visit arrives from a search engine, holds nothing but the name of that search engine, and expires after at most one hour. Its only function is to let a later click on an outbound link be matched back to the search engine that brought the visitor here. Alongside this, a session-only flag in the browser makes sure a single page view is counted once rather than multiple times while the page is open. Neither of these leaves any other identifier behind, and neither is used to build a profile of the visitor.
Site Structure: Confirmed Facts
- The site is a set of static pages hosted on a content delivery network, which handles the technical delivery of every request as the hosting provider.
- Pages are self-contained: every file a page needs, including locally embedded fonts, is served from this domain, so no outside host receives data while a page is being displayed.
- Outbound links to third-party sites are routed through a first-party redirect path on this domain before reaching the partner site. This routing does not pass any stored visitor data to the partner; the redirect itself is on-domain, and the partner site receives the follow-on request directly from the visitor's browser.
- No forms are present anywhere on the site.
- No third-party analytics scripts or trackers are loaded.
- No external subresources are pulled in from other domains.
- No contact channels — such as an email address, phone line or messaging form — are provided on this site.
Scope Limits: What's Excluded
Because there are no forms, no account system and no contact channel, this site does not collect names, e-mail addresses, payment details or any other personal identifier, and it does not ask for any. It does not use third-party or advertising cookies, does not set persistent identifiers, and does not share visit data with advertising networks, data brokers or outside analytics providers. The only storage involved is the short-lived first-party cookie and the session flag already described above; nothing else is written to the browser.
Once a visitor follows an outbound link to a partner site, that site becomes a separate destination outside this operator's control. It receives the request directly from the visitor's browser and keeps its own record of that visit under its own practices. This page describes only the mechanisms confirmed on this domain; it does not describe, and cannot speak for, what happens on any site reached through an outbound link. Readers should treat any linked destination as a separate site with its own handling of visit data.
